Pop Warner announced on it’s website that for the 5th consecutive season, Pop Warner programs nationwide will be required to annually conduct a background check of: Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players and/or spirit participants, claiming;

“The purpose of these background checks is, first and foremost, to protect the children”.
Bravo to Pop Warner for leading the pack, and requiring youth coached to get background checks. Backgrounds Online will offer you a discount if you’re looking to screen volunteers for a sports team. Another option is Public Background Checks.
